Even though we spent most of elementary school and all of middle and high school in the same schools, we didn’t officially meet until senior year of high school! For our first date, we went to the park and then caught a movie — the perfect first date. From there, we were inseparable, spending our time watching movies, grabbing Sonic drinks, and making lots of memories together.

After graduating high school, we started a long-distance journey — Preston headed to Union University while Elizabeth went to Samford University. Though being apart was tough, seeing each other during breaks made every moment together extra special.

Preston proposed during Elizabeth’s spring break — at the park, just like our very first date! It was a perfect, thoughtful moment, and Elizabeth was completely surprised.

Now, after four years of long distance, we're so happy to finally be living closer together. Elizabeth is currently in medical school at Baptist Health Sciences University and will finish her first year just a week before the wedding. Preston is working as a Software Engineer at FedEx.

We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you on May 29th!
